Es basiert auf dokumentierten realen Ereignissen und einem ver\u00f6ffentlichten Roman, der eine der entscheidendsten &#8211; und am wenigsten bekannten &#8211; milit\u00e4rischen Kampagnen der mittelamerikanischen Geschichte wieder aufleben l\u00e4sst.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Die Geschichte spielt am San Juan River in den Jahren 1856-1857 und erz\u00e4hlt von einem Flusskrieg, in dem es Costa Rica gelang, den wichtigsten interozeanischen Korridor abzuschneiden, der von dem Sklavenhalter William Walker genutzt wurde.
