The story focuses on both the military operation and the <strong>internal political tensions<\/strong> that followed the victory. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-formato\"><strong>Format<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"\">The project is conceived to be developed in <strong>two possible formats<\/strong>, open to joint evaluation with production companies:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Historical feature film<\/strong><br\/>A compact, intense and visually powerful story, focusing on the river campaign and its immediate aftermath.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Limited series (6-8 episodes)<\/strong><br\/>A structure that allows us to delve deeper into the characters, the tropical setting, the political tensions and the subsequent silencing process.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Both formats start from the same narrative core and can be adapted according to the creative and production approach.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-base-historica\"><strong>Historical basis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">All the main characters existed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The central facts are documented in campaign diaries, military reports and diplomatic archives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">The capture of <strong>nine filibuster steamers<\/strong> and the control of the <strong>San Juan River<\/strong> were real events with strategic impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"\">The work does not propose speculative fiction, but <strong>historical drama based on contrasted documentation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
